DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01   MARRAKECH ARRIVAL
Upon on arrival in Marrakech, you will be met our representative before transfer to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. You may visit world famous square of Jemaa el Fna in Old Medine at evening.

DAY 02   MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR
Today you will visit tourism capital of Morocco, red city Marrakech. Your local guide will escort you around 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, beautiful El Bahia Palace, Badii Place, Saadian Tombs and Ben Youssef Madrasa. Then meandering the arms-width streets of the souks to Jamaa El Fna Square, the famous market square in Marrakech’s old quarter complete with storytellers, magicians, food stalls and snake charmers.

DAY 03   MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA
Today you head to Essaouira enroute you will discover many Argan Trees with flying goats. You will have great opportunity to visit Argan Tree Factory to see process and cosmetic products. An authentic medival seaside town, Essaouira is an alluring, unspoilt destination with a tangible North African feel. Visiting this charming artist colony that boasts lovely white-washed and blue-shuttered houses, colonnades, thuya wood workshops, art galleries, and mouthwatering seafoods. Take a stroll along the town’s the old medina, Jewish mellah, harbor and breathtaking views of the Portuguese ramparts. The medina of Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage listed city, as an example of a late-18th century fortified town. (Total: 3 hours driving)

DAY 04   AGADIR – TAROUDANT
Today you will see a completely different side of Morocco along the Atlantic coastline to Agadir. Taroudant, which is an authentic Berber market town, is known as “Mini Marrakech” but as it is not so visited by tourists, it offers a much more authentic experience for travellers. Saadian Family used as capital before move to Marrakech. (Total: 4 hours driving)

DAY 05   TALIOUINE  – TAZENAKHT – AIT BENHADDOU
Today you head towards Taliouine – Land of Saffron then There are a number of women’s cooperatives in this very rural area which have been set up to help the women earn a living and command a fair price for their work and here you can see the process of saffron extraction. Also There will be the opportunity to stop in Tazenakht – Land of carpets to explore amazing hand-made berberi carpets at woman weavers cooperative. Then head to Ait Ben-haddou village. (Total: 4.5 hours driving)

DAY 06  OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – DADES GORGE
After breakfast you will explore fortified city of Ait Benhaddou, UNESCO World Heritage site, the most spectacular Ksar in all of Morocco. Situated on the old caravan route from the Sahara to Marrakech. Then head to Ouarzazate, Hollywood of Africa – is a world renowned film making location. From Lawrence of Arabia in the 60’s to Salmon Fishing in the Yemen 2011 – you can visit the Atlas Studios (optional). Then you will visit famous Kasbah Amridil in Skoura and learn the life of kasbah and architectural features. You will pass through the Rose Valley if season you will have chance to see roses also you can visit one of the factories of rose products. Before arrival Dades Gorge. (Total: 2 hours driving)

DAY 07   DADES GORGE – TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA  
After breakfast you will drive along the amazing Dades Gorge and take great pictures of rock formations and zig-zag road from top of the mountain. Then continue to Todra Gorge entroute you will have few stops for hiking in palm oasis of Todra. Todra Gorge is the biggest canyon qith 300m hight, will literally take your breath away and you can walk along the shallow river enjoying the changing colours. After canyon visit you will head to Sahara. Arrive in Merzouga before sunset and then go by dromedary camel 45-60 minutes, at sunset, into the Erg Chebbi Dunes to camp overnight in your luxury bivouac tent at Desert oasis. DAY 08   ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – IFRANE – FES
You leave Merzouga behind and head towards the Middle Atlas mountains. Ascending over the Atlas Mountains you will drive along the Ziz Valley with giant palm trees, here is the largest dates producer in Morocco. You will have your lunch at middle of journey in Midelt where is famous with apple production. Descending the Atlas Mountains Ifrane, a beautiful ski resort, known as “Little Switzerland” and see the cedar woods and barbary apes. (Total: 8 hours driving)

DAY 09   FES GUIDED TOUR
Today you will visit cultural capital of Morocco, Fes. Your local guide will escort you around the oldest working medina in the world that many refer to as a living museum. Step back into the medival ages in the labyrinth of the medina, which is alive with craftsmen, markets, tanneries and mosques. Passing donkeys piled high with goods (this is one of the biggest car-free urban zones in the world with 9000 narrow streets) and explore the specialty sections that seperate the souk. You will start to explore step by step Royal Palace, Blue Gate, Clock Tower, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain & Museum of Wooden, Oldest University Al Quaraouiyin and its mosque & library, experience handicraft weavers, Al Attarine Madrasa, Tanneries, Borj Sud, experience of local art Moroccan tiles (zellige) and ceramics, Bodj Nord.

DAY 10   MEKNES – VOLUBILIS GUIDED TOUR – CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast you drive to Imperial city of Meknes. It offers amazing attaractions to explore the most beautiful gate of Morocco-Bab Mansour, Heri es-Souani (Royal Stables for 12.000 horses), Agdal Reservoir, Old Medina and the Bab el-Khemis via Thursday Gate. Then you will visit breathtaking archaeological site of Volubilis (Walili), Morocco’s most well preserved & impressive Roman ruins. Your local guide will escort you on a walk around 2000 year old, The Capitoline Temple, Basilica, Roman Baths, Triumphal Arch, Houses & Palaces which adorned with beautiful mosaics. Ancient site gained international acclaim when Martin Scorsese made it a feature location for his film, The Last Temptation of Christ.  Head to Chefchaouen for overnight stay. (Total: 4.5 hours driving)

DAY 11   CHEFCHAOUEN GUIDED TOUR – TETOUAN – TANGIER
After breakfast you will have your guided walking tour to see Kasbah Museum, Plaza Uta El-Hammam and Grand Mosque in Chefchaouen - vividly blue-colored small city. Get ready to taking amazing pictures in Blue City with splendid doors, blue washed houses at narrow streets. Today you will head to Tangier, enroute you will visit another UNESCO World Heritae site old medine of Tetouan for orientation walk around. Overn (Total: 2.5 hours driving)

DAY 12   TANGIER – ASILAH – RABAT GUIDED TOUR
Today you will visit Tangier’s Roman graves on rock and take pictures of Europre from Africa at this panoramic point and walking around old medina of Tangier and Grand Succo. After Tangier city exploration, you will drive Asillah for short visit then head to Capital Rabat to explore the attractions of Rabat; picturestic northern wall of the Oudaïa Kasbah, Hassan Tower & Mohamed V Mausoleum, Necropolis of Chellah and Dar al-Makhzen (Royal Palace) is the offical residence of the King. (Total: 3 hours driving)

DAY 13   CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH  
This morning you will visit Mosque of Hassan II, the largest and elaborately designed mosque in Africa. It is located on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean with 209m tall minaret. Hassan II Mosque is absolutely architectural masterpiece and it has 105.000 worshippers capacity. Walking at famous Corniche of Casablanca. Then you will head to the Marrakech for overnight stay. You will have Free afternoon in Marrakech. (Total: 1.5 hour driving)
